The Weekend, from season one
already explained why this show doesn't really ultimately work, but
this episode is a symphony. Logging this to avoid forgetting the moments
of pain and identity, the use of sunset over midwestern fields, Mandy
Patinkin's voice, and effective dialogue between two human bodies of
pain. Totally effective, and one of the best episodes of anything I have
ever seen. I wish the rest of the series had sustained this tension
without becoming ridiculous.
